Takehiro Kamigama
After serving as President and Representative Director of TDK Corporation for 12 years beginning in 2006, Mr. Kamigama successively held the positions of Representative Director and Chairman, and later Mission Executive, at the same company. He possesses a wealth of management experience, having demonstrated leadership in strengthening the company’s earning power and expanding its business domains.
Hiroshi Nakata
After handling M&A in the media and entertainment sectors at the Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan and its Research Institute, Mr. Nakata served as CFO of Yoshimoto Kogyo Holdings Co., Ltd., where he managed a subsidiary’s listing, a TOB (Takeover Bid), and the privatization of Yoshimoto Kogyo. He also has experience successfully raising 11 billion JPY as an entrepreneur in his 50s.
Joseph P. Schmelzeis Jr.
A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Business School (MBA), Mr. Schmelzeis is a former Chief of Staff at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo. He has a diverse background and track record in management strategy, investment, finance, marketing, and human resource development. He is fluent in Japanese, Chinese, and English.
Morimasa Ueda
Mr. Ueda was involved in audit services as an Audit Partner in the financial services practice of Ernst & Young (EY) in the United States. After retiring from EY US, he established GOAT Advisory LLC in April 2019. He provides high-quality accounting and management advisory services to Japanese companies doing business in the U.S. and to their stakeholders.
